Anywhere Points are the points you earn, and they can be redeemed for free play at any casino or Chances location in B.C, or on PlayNow.com. BCLC may also award you points that can be used at any location or on PlayNow. See ‘Free Play, Promos and Offers’ for more information.

See ‘Free Play, Promos and Offers’ for more information. Casino Specific Points cannot be redeemed for free play tokens on PlayNow.
How do table free play vouchers work?
Free play voucher: You will receive a free play voucher when redeeming points for table free play at Guest Services or from the table dealer. Present this voucher to a dealer at a table as a one-time wager.
For example, if you give a $10 free play voucher to your dealer and win your hand, the dealer will award you $10 in chips. Whether you win or lose your hand, the dealer will keep your $10 free play voucher.
What was the old earn rate for Encore Rewards points?
The previous earn rate for Encore Rewards points were as follows:
• Slots and Instant games on PlayNow.com earned 1 point for every $1 bet.
• eRoulette and multigame eTables in casinos or on PlayNow.com earned 4 points for every $5 bet.
Please note that these rates are no longer applicable. Visit our Encore Rewards page for the current earn rates.
Membership levels
How is my membership level determined?
Membership status levels are determined by the amount of membership status points you have collected over a one-year period, starting September 1st of each year. Based on your accumulated activity, your membership level can increase daily, but will only decrease on September 1st if you have not maintained the same level of membership status points.
How do I earn membership status points?
Membership status points are earned the same way as redeemable points. For example, when you earn 1 point for a $1 bet on slots, you also earn 1 membership status point.
Your membership status points will reset to zero (0) each year during the month of September.
How many membership status points are required for each Encore Rewards membership level?
- Diamond: membership status points required = 0-9,999
- Double Diamond: membership status points required = 10,000 - 49,999
- Triple Diamond: membership status points required = 50,000 - 149,999
- Elite: membership status points required = 150,000+
How do I move up a membership level?
Depending on your amount of play, you may be upgraded to the next membership level the day after you become eligible. All membership levels offer great benefits.
Will I keep my membership level forever?
No, membership levels are determined based on your amount of play in a one-year period. It is refreshed every September 1st.
Why was I moved down a membership level?
If your level of play is reduced in the anniversary year following your upgrade, you will be moved to the appropriate membership level. There are great membership benefits regardless of your level.
Can bonus points be calculated towards my membership level status?
No. Bonus points, promotional points, multiplier and direct mail offers do not affect your membership level (unless explicitly stated). Only money wagered at the machine, table, or on PlayNow, or spent on dining, will contribute to your membership level.
What's the difference between Encore Reward points, membership status points and bonus points?
Encore Rewards points and membership status points are earned simultaneously through eligible game play. While playing these games, you will earn points towards both your Encore Rewards and membership status points balance, respectively.
For example, at a Casino or Community Gaming Centre you will earn 1 Encore Rewards point and 1 membership status point for every $1 wagered on slots while playing with your Encore Rewards card (before accelerators, if applicable).
Encore Rewards points can be redeemed for free play and expire 365 days after they are earned.
Membership status points continue to grow during a one-year period (September 1 – August 31) and are reset to 0 every September. These points count towards membership status levels.
Bonus points are additional points awarded through promotional offers. They can be redeemed for free play, expire 365 days once awarded (unless otherwise stated) and do not count towards membership status level earnings.
To get to Double Diamond Member status at 10,000 points, does that mean I have to spend $10,000 on slots out of my pocket?
No, one (1) point for every $1 of slot play wagered includes the initial spend plus any slot play wins accumulated and then played on a slot machine.
For example, if you put in $5 and spin 5 times at $1 each, you have earned 5 points. If you win $10 during those spins and continue to play, you now have played an additional 10 spins at $1 each. This will earn you 10 more points. In this example, you put in $5 but earned 15 points.
How do the accelerator benefits work?
Accelerator benefits are unlocked as you move up membership levels. They are awarded as a percentage of points, dependant on your membership status level (i.e. Double Diamond players earn 5% accelerator points on top of every point earned).
There are two types of accelerators – base point accelerator and status point accelerator. A base point accelerator applies to points you earn during play with your Encore Rewards card. A status point accelerator applies to your membership status points that determine your membership level.
