Usage Criteria

This component helps display a variety of questions commonly asked by users, along with answers to each one. This allows users to find solutions on their own, without having to contact customer support.

Do's and Don'ts

  • Do add headers to groups of related FAQ questions. This helps users identify whether their answer can be found in the group via reading the topic.
  • Do not use this component to display anything other than frequently asked questions and answers. If you are looking for a component with a similar functionality for different content, consider using the Accordion component.

Design Notes

If it might be anticipated that a user will need help on certain pages of the site, consider linking to the FAQ page, or include other methods of help such as contact information.

Configurable Options

Although this component is configured with a Title and Description, this may be misleading, as the Title field depicts the topic for each group of answers, and the Description field should house all questions and aswers within that topic.

Anything added to the Title field will appear on the left-hand sub-navigation.
