Locating images

The DAM groups images by theme in separate folders.

For general imagery, the following are available within the global folder:

Requests

If there are images needed that are not found in the DAM (Digital Asset Management), please send a request to Creative Services to have them made.

Icons

The icons used aim to be playful but modern. All icons use some form of Casinos BC's primary colours.

Photography

The photography used on Casinos BC has a high-flash, high-contrast, vibrant look. Subjects always seem natural and never look posed or staged like stock photography, adding to the brand's authenticity.

The imagery is candid and in-the-moment, but feels modern and alluring.

Alternative text

Alternative text, also known as alt text, is read by screen readers for the visually impaired or displayed if an image does not load. When filling in this text manually, be meaningful and concise about what the image represents. Describe the content and function of the image.

Our operations span the entirety of the province that we now call British Columbia. We respectfully acknowledge that we are guests in the territories of more than 200 First Nations, each with unique traditions, cultures, and histories. We are grateful to these First Nations caretakers for their stewardship of these lands and waters since time immemorial.

BCLC is committed to establishing and maintaining good relations with all First Nations, Métis, and Inuit people in British Columbia and beyond. Our journey has only recently begun, and we have a lot of work to do in collaboration with Indigenous Peoples to understand the Truth, reconcile the past, and truly generate win-wins for the greater good, together.
