Page Template

Use these templates to keep your pages consistent with the Casinos BC website. The components required for most pages include:

  • global navigation
  • footer

Available templates

Basic page

All regular content pages on the site use this template, except for service provider related pages.

Encore PAM page

All pages related to player account management use this template. These pages are hard-coded and not built using common and reusable components.

SP page

Only service provider information pages use this template. Content is added through the page properties, and not common and reusable components.

Lightweight page

This template is a simplified version of a typical page and is used to create true landing pages for promotional events.

Page hierarchy

A note on page hierarchy: "Level 1" pages are the surface level pages that users can easily access and usually serve as funnels to go deeper into other pages on the website. As the pages get deeper, they are defined by lower levels.

An example of this is the Get Encore Rewards page (Level 1). From here, you can go deeper into PlayPlanner (Level 2), which is also a part of the Get Encore Rewards section but a level lower because of the path that is taken to get to this page on the site.

Headers

The page headers used (created by using the CTA  Full Width component) will depend on the hierarchy of the page. When using the CTA Full Width component as a header, its configuration settings should be determined by the page level.

See the examples below for reference (there are exceptions to this pattern):

Level 1

Headers for Level 1 pages are typically longer than those on other page levels, and can contain additional CTAs. Background images are always used.

Our operations span the entirety of the province that we now call British Columbia. BCLC is committed to establishing and maintaining good relations with all First Nations, Métis, and Inuit people in British Columbia and beyond. Our journey has only recently begun, and we have a lot of work to do in collaboration with Indigenous Peoples to understand the Truth, reconcile the past, and truly generate win-wins for the greater good, together.
